The
Artistry of Hooking People Workshop
This workshop is designed around the processes that I
use to create my rugs. Have you ever
wanted to design and hook a rug using a childhood
memory, old family photograph or a story from your
family history, this workshop will give you everything
you will need to transform your ideas into beautiful
rugs.
We will cover the
following; basic design, proportions, faces,
composition, framing your subject, backgrounds ( how to
create perspective) , color plan
( using watercolor), dyeing ( how to
dye your fabric to create a painted effect) and creating
movement while hooking and a finishing a technique I
developed a few years ago.
